What Is Prenatal Care
An important part of maintaining your health during pregnancy is through prenatal care. Your doctor at MD365™ will help monitor your baby’s development and perform routine testing throughout the coming months to help diagnose and prevent serious conditions.
During these regular checkups, you’ll have a chance to ask questions and learn more about the changes to your body during pregnancy. It’s also a fantastic time to prepare for the birth.
How Often Do You Need Prenatal Care Visits?
While pregnant, you’ll fall into a routine with your healthcare provider in Shirley. You’ll receive prenatal care visits based on how far along you are in the pregnancy and whether or not there are risks to the baby.
- Every 4 to 6 weeks for the first 32 weeks.
- Every 2 to 3 weeks between 32 and 37 weeks.
- Every week up to delivery after 37 weeks.
Besides our well-known commitment to affordable healthcare services and the community, we have doctors, nurses and specialists on staff who are specialized in pregnancy care.
With MD365™, you’ll receive key information about your pregnancy, labor, delivery, breastfeeding, nutrition and family planning along the way. We’ll also help with weight management during pregnancy and full healthcare support for both you and the baby!
